Title: LAN port problem .

Hello guys  , Due to my carelessness .my laptop took a bath in rain . Everything else is in good condition but,  its lan port is not working . I don't have money to change my motherboard . But, my friend told me something about USB lanport . I don't know much about it .So, please tell me what is this USB lan port ?

Presumably just a little adaptor, USB plug on one end, RJ45 socket on the other.
I carry one in my "kit" just in case - has its uses.  ;)
Tends to need a driver, but that should come with it.
