Subject: Broadband Connectivity Issues.

At approximately 15:00 this afternoon, we became aware that some of our users in London and the surrounding areas have lost connection.

We are working with our suppliers to identify the problem and have this rectified as quickly as possible.

We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause, and thank you for your patience while this is resolved.

Kind regards,

Subject: Broadband Connectivity Issues - RESOLVED

This is an update to Saturday's post about the connectivity problem affecting some of our broadband subscribers.

The outage was cleared by our suppliers at approximately 4.50pm on Saturday after which point customers should have been able to connect again. Some customers whose routers don't handle situations like this very gracefully may have found that they needed to switch their router off/back on before being able to reconnect.

There was a recurrence of a similar problem early Sunday morning at approximately 3.20am.

There was also a period of planned maintenance early this morning that may have led to similar symptoms. More details regarding this work can be found here - http://usertools.plus.net/status/archive/1318006264.htm

At the time of writing there are no known major service outages. If you are having difficulty trying to get online then please try switching your modem or router off for twenty minutes before switching it back on attempting to reconnect.

If you're having problems beyond this then please contact our helpdesk via the usual channels.
