Hi all, just wondered if anybody used these sites to listen to music.Deezer,Last.FM and Hype Machine. It says these sites are free and legal,is that so?Are these sites free from spyware.I know you are only streaming songs and not actually downloading.

I've no idea UB, but you can get some decent free music by unsigned artists at http://www.soundclick.com/music.cfm - free registration is required tho.

Only just seen this post. I regularly listen to stations from this site, OK it's American and unless you pay a fee it has adverts but there is still a hugh choice of genres.

Not that it really matters, but if you look in your Internet temp folder, surely you will find the "streamed" item there?
Only I have read of people then copying the music track from there, (not that I have ever tried it)

This might be of interest to some of you?

Canadian based IIRC - Calgary I think. Been in my bookmarks for years and you can use Winamp rather than WMP or RealPlayer if you want.

Thanks it will make a change... Always useful to have the extra site on my list.

I just thought it may be of interest as its mainly retro music. Not that I'm implying everyone around here is well into middle age or anything ;)

Despite what Panomania might claim to the contrary, I am NOT an 'old fart'.

What's wrong with being an old fart?
