While I was looking at camera prices today I noticed the price promise pledge on Warehouse Expresses website.
http://www.warehouseexpress.com/Home/default.aspx?/AboutUs/PricePromise.html
The camera I was looking at is the Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ28,retailing on their site @ £259 inc del.
Of the list of sites listed they will price match is amazon.co.uk where I found the camera for £233.52 inc del.
The price they quoted me by return email was £238.39,yet I met every critereia they stated on their price pledge promise,am I missing something here???

I cant suss out where they got the final figure from either.
I couldnt see the 233.52 one.. but if its this one (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-DMCFZ28-Digital-Camera-Optical/dp/B001D2RE12/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1226427427&sr=8-8).
Thats 236.01 inc delivery.
I notice that on their price pledge they say "remembering to add the other retailer's next day delivery charge."
I dont know how much that is but Amazon 1st class is £4.19 (yes I know the item qualifies for saver delivery)
236.02 =+ 4.19 = 240.21
125% of the difference is £23.75. So £259 - £23.75 = £235.25.. which is a bit nearer what theyre quoting you.
I bet you the devil is in the detail about the next day delivery charge. :-X

This is the link via pricerunner,but as you can now see the price is what you have stated Kitz.probably not yet updated on pricerunner.
They don't make things easy,do they??

Just had a reply from WE. as follows
Amazon price £233.52 + £8.99 next day delivery =£242.51
Difference =£16.49
125% difference = £20.61
£259 inc next day delivery - £20.61 = £238.39.
You were right Kitz. :)

+ £8.99 next day delivery
yeah :( I couldnt find out how much the next day delivery was for amazon (not without putting it in my cart and going through the order process).. but I guessed it would be a few quid more than 1st class.
At least you know now how its calculated.....
and presumably they have lost the sale.....
as you will buy from amazon with their free delivery :D
