admin - split off from main thread

Sorry only just seen this.    The easiest way is output the text file in a frame.

https://kitz.co.uk/linestats/pbparams.htm

You should be able to download that file.
Don't forget you will also need to change the menu nav bar for the other pages too.

---
PS

You may need to adjust the frame width depending upon data in your own txt file.
I just quickly used 800 x 600 to test, as mine isn't uploading live data...  but you can tweak it to what best suits your data output.

Code: [Select]
<iframe src="pbparams.txt" width="800" height="600" frameborder="0">

Nice work! I have added it on my dslstats. Thanks.  admin: link removed

Did a little Googling, most reports suggest this is a redirect from InfinityFree.net if you go over your usage quota.

The TLD  42web.io advertises various website hosting or a static page for parked domains designed to catch typos and increase traffic for paid ads.  I guess its how they are able to offer free webhosting  :/

So someone has been looking at the stats too often.

Because the script updates when new data is uploaded, I bet its quite easy to hit limits if you leave your browser window open watching stats.... or even just leaving it running with the window open.  :(

I have removed off and deleted account because someone has warned me of malware https://www.scam-detector.com/validator/42web-io-review/

eke, not a good report for them at all.  :o  There goes the saying 'Nothing comes for free'.  You did best thing by removing it.

ETA
I've deleted any links to the original site.  I see no point giving them decent back links to increase their SEO ranking.

Funny is after checking the dslstats via free hosting it giving me Grade B certificates passed OK. All Green OK from here: https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/index.html

If its still redirecting, I'm not sure its checking the host site certificate or the site its being redirected to.

Either way I don't see how its relevant, the certificate would have to be valid for the page to load.

Max, I thought you'd stopped looking at your line stats!

The line stats still running 24/7/365 on my raspberry pi (only checking if the line went downtime but so far all working fine for over month as so pleased to hear SoGfast are stable)

Why do you need a 24/7/365 log of the stats, it's just so unnecessary? If I were you I'd turn that off and perhaps just log into the router once a week or so to make you comfortable that everything is alright.  :)

I find the 24/7/365 stats from the ThinkBroadband Broadband Quality Monitor very handy to share with the ISP when there are issues  :P

Absolutely impossible for Max to stop.

They can be useful if a problem ever occurs, but when I ran 24/7 on my VDSL I wasnt constantly checking them, just a useful resource when there is problem.  Also I uploaded so I could contribute to the community the data, as I felt when the mydslstats service went down the community lost a useful resource.

I have turned off raspberry pi and no more dslstats. I have to trust my gfast stable for the next 12 months.  I have signed up uptimerobot so it will alert me on my phone app and email me when my service went downtime.

This will only encourage you to look at the stats again.  You really need to focus on something else, because unless your broadband is actually not working well enough for your usage, you're just encouraging yourself to stress over nothing.

Split off from main topic as it detracts from what that is supposed to be there for in regards to the interface.
It also doesnt need everyone saying practically the same thing.
