"Why point that thing in my direction?" the current expression appears to ask. :)

Beautiful photo of him.

I think she’s a tremendous photographer. Thomas was lying right by Janet’s hip. She has been shutting the cats out so that they won’t walk over her and hurt her while she’s recovering but Thomas was too fast, got into the bedroom before Janet could shut the door. He’s a huge fusspot, but just naughty chasing and intimidating the other cats.

hurt her while she’s recovering
I only picked up from something you said in another thread about something going on with her health. How is she doing? Have you got some help as
Please send best wishes from all of us here hoping that she has a speedy recovery. :flower:

She’s recovering from surgery and radiation therapy for breast cancer.

That explains the look. "Im staying in here. I'm looking after mum. Whatcha gunna do about it" :D

She’s very very tired after the radiation therapy in Inverness, which finished on New Year’s Eve, five days. Janet moved into the spare room to get away from trampling orientals walking over her in the night, so I’m with Somhairle, Pangur Bàn, Beileag and Buidheag and Janet sometimes gets Thomas if he’s nimble.

Gosh that is a heck of a treck. I presume she will have had to stay there during the course of treatment.
How are you both managing? It's not as if you even have close neighbours who can nip in. :/

No we are on the northern edge of the village of Heasta and are lucky to have a lot of very helpful friends and neighbours. Janet decided she couldn’t stay over in Inverness because organising someone to look after me overnight would be too much of a nightmare. When she was doing her "photon torpedoes" as she said she was driven to Inverness everyday by various drivers so about five hours driving for five mins under the 10MeV linac. She could have stayed in the accommodation at the huge Inverness hospital or in a hotel. Some patients fly in from the Western and Northern Isles to Inverness. A friend of Janet’s in England had 15 days of treatment, whereas Janet had a very new treatment with only five days. One of my neighbours looked after me overnight while Janet was in for surgery.

I'm so glad that you have helpful neighbours and drivers whilst she had the course of radiotherapy. You are lucky that people were willing to help out. No doubt this will have been tiring on Janet. My dad had a 30 day course over 6 weeks and that was a bit of a trek each day but nothing like the distance she had. I would have thought the radiotherapy will have left Janet quite weary, although saying that with dad it wasnt until after about 2 weeks that he began to feel really wiped out, so with her having a newer shorter course she may be more fortunate. Wishing her all the best for a speedy recovery. :flower:
