After nearly 4 hours mail.<mydomain> has just updated on 212.23.6.100.
Is there a specific reason you are using your ISP DNS, rather than google (8.8.8.8) or cloudflare (1.1.1.1) ?

I think jelv hosts something on a public IP address connected to their zen internet connection.
212.23.3.100 has now started giving duff answers - neither that nor 212.23.6.100 are consistent, so it's definitely broke and I've fixed it by swapping to specify one Google and one Cloudflare for IPv4 and the same for IPv6.
Because I hadn't changed from the default settings on the Fritz box when I moved to Zen and theoretically using the ISP's DNS servers should be best as they are closest to me.
