Title: Monitoring via Solarwinds - ADSL units (mostly rackmount/industrial)
Post by: Garadical on November 16, 2021, 11:29:11 AM
Hi all.

Has anyone been able to graph the Line speed / attainable Rate metric for an ADSL-enabled device via a Solarwinds platform?

I'm talking Juniper, Huawei, Adtran units...
Using something like:

1. Specifying OID numbers to nail down metrics, per Manufacturer?
2. Running CLI scripts through the SW modules

Just to make a line on a graph to indicate how much data is transferring in and out of the device.
I know there are units that cannot use SNMP to reach the desired outcome, and hence need alternative methods
to obtain the same response, if at all possible.

Any ideas?
All time on here appreciated.

Hi and welcome to Kitz forum,

I'm using PRTG to graph this for TP-Link, Zyxel and Billion ADSL/VDSL routers.

What SNMP data are you being sent?
