There's a much longer story behind this, but here's the conclusion.

Not good news on the G.INP I’m afraid.
This is the reply I got
BT Guys name omitted
The customer's broadband service has been consistently above 40M since the LTE faceplate was changed. We will check again next week and let you know.
Please note that G.INP is not an option, the lack of it was not the cause of the customer's recent complaint. It will not be reinstated in the near future.
