ran both browsers through ssllabs client test on default settings.
edge passes everything although it has more ciphers then I would enable.
IE11 still has sslv3 enabled by default and both tls 1.1 and 1.2 disabled by default, also still uses rc4 ciphers. ouch.
Seems microsoft dont even care to maintain security on IE11 now.
They lucky someone like me doesnt own a high traffic site to report on it, as really they need a public slamming for abandoning it like that, as remember Ie users will still use it on older OS's and some will probably still use on win10 given how bad edge is.
After disabling sslv3 and enabling new tls in IE11 options, it no longer has rc4 enabled but is vuln to logjam.
