Title: 2850n Weird Issue
Post by: jmutton on August 22, 2014, 12:37:00 PM
Hello there,

Model Name   : Vigor2850n
Firmware Version   : 3.6.6.1_232201
Build Date/Time   : Jun 18 2014 15:58:48

I'm currently running a Draytek 2850n with a BT Modem (ADSL) connected via the WAN2 port. After about a day of it running the wireless stops working on the Draytek. It saids that my wireless devices are connected but no data is being sent or received. The only way I can get the wireless to work is to restart the router or to change the wireless mode under 'General Setup' under Wireless LAN. When I connect my devices via my AP-800, they work fine.

This is getting VERY annoying as I'm having to do this many times a day.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Does it write out any logs? If not, they usually have a syslog server option. Install a free one and leave it running. Probably capture the exact moment it goes tits with some erroneous error message... which you can log a ticket against perhaps?
