hmmmm

spot the difference on this

adsl line stats (http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/linestats.htm)

and this

version 2 (http://www.datanet.co.uk/User/files/downloads/Interpreting_ADSL_line_stats.pdf)

They've obviously taken my page from sometime last year and pdf'd it.
Complete with the line stats from my connection.

It's pretty shabby of them not to credit the source at least.

Cheeky swine!

I always tweak information I've found elsewhere, so that it becomes my reference material, not my finished document.

As a result of reading this, I've just looked into, and understood (some) my own router's SNR etc.
As a former BT technical officer and manager, you'd think I would know all about it. But, broadband wasn't even a twinkle in our eyes when I left the Internet Operations Centre. The 'new' technology being rolled out then was Managed Dial IP, and that was specialist knowledge!

Bit bloody cheeky that one if you ask me.
I know a fair few ISPs refer people to my site.. but taking a page and branding it as their own takes the biscuit.

They obviously ripped it off before April this year, because thats when I added my woosh test results from when I got maxed, which they havent included.
