Title: More weasel words ?
Post by: waltergmw on July 12, 2012, 12:48:52 PM
Gentlefolk,

Has anybody come across the innuendo behind these words which now appear within the BT Wholesale FTTC checker:-

"Also provision of some services may not be allowed due to product withdrawal, please contact your service provider for further details."

The complete (edited) text is attached.

Kind regards,
Walter

Hello Walter,

without a hint of which services may be withdrawn the paragraph is meaningless.
Although I do see it says may be withdrawn.   :shrug2:

No SDSL Services as they are being withdrawn and being replaced by EFM.

Thanks very much Leo,

It is indeed a pleasant change to have at least one sane voice in amongst all this marketing buffoonery.

Kind regards,
Walter

Ouch! Sorry Walter for appearing to be a buffoon.
It's just that most posts that I read now are full of these acronyms.
Some can be googled and some certainly can't. I am getting the feeling that I am in over my head these days.
I'll not but in anymore.

@ SilverSurfer,

I most certainly wasn't referring to any esteemed colleagues within this hallowed society !

No apology at all is necessary !

Words such as devious, over-bloated and dysfunctional come to mind !

Kind regards,
Walter

Thank you Walter.

I must be getting a bit touchy. Must get out more often.
