Title: Tuesday twitterings 19th
Post by: roseway on October 19, 2010, 10:15:19 AM
Good morning everybody, lets be having you! :)

A lovely sunny (but chilly) day here today. Definitely a day for a brisk ramble, which is what I'll be doing later. Nothing else planned, apart from a bit of pottering.

Enjoy your day everybody. :)

Good morning all who pop in today.
It's a nice morning at 8C with a frost forecast to night  :o , I just hope my mortar pointing I did yesterday is going to be ok, I have got the roof finished and waterproof now on my new build and have taken the scaffolding down a level and have been repairing the damage done during last winters frost.
It takes a bit longer to do when you do all the work myself  :'(.

Just looking at my neighbors laptop now and doing a 1st backup for them.

Later today I have an appointment with the hearing specialist at the new Derby hospital.

Have a nice day.

Good morning all  :)

A nice,but cool morning here

Good luck with the hearing dept Mike.(been there done that got the tee shirt hearing aids to prove it  ;D

Its the only NHS dept when your name is called no one moves.  ;D

Still struggling  with pain in my legs,I am fed up with taking tablets.Co-Codamol 30/500 for the pain and also Diclofenac anti inflammatory tablets ,although I do limit myself to those due to side effects.

Not much planned today(good job with the state I'm in)  :D

Have a nice day whatever you have planned. :)

ps,I hope Kate is managing to get some petrol .Saying that her OH might be pleased as no petrol will keep her away from the shops... :D

Good Morning one and all, nice to be one big happy family again. Thank you TD. Actually I didn't know we'd been apart.

The only rambling I'll get to do is on here, enjoy yours Eric.

By the sounds of it Tichmike the weather is about to turn wintery for a few days, so hopefully it won't get to your fresh pointing. Good fun isn't it?

Anyway must dash I have plenty of nothing to do myself.

Have a nice day y'all
Colin No.2

Good Morning UncleUB, you posted as I was deciding what to ramble on about.

" Thank you TD. Actually I didn't know we'd been apart".  It's my fault :D  I was hoping I was going to start the chat  today :cry2:, but Eric got there just before me  >:D.

So much for a nice day, it's now dark with heavy rain . :'(.

'Allo 'Allo  everyone   ....   I don't know where my mornings are going at the moment  :'(      All the talk about frost etc... is making me shiver  ....it's a lovely mild day here .... >:D   sorry  !!

Good to see everyone up and about, enjoy whatever you do today.

No problems so far from the strikes/action here Unc  ....  I bought some gazoil yesterday - enough for any emergency car journey.     We are quite protected from it I suppose being retired and very rural.....   no need for public transport (until I go for another shoppy/lunch outing) we're not flying anywhere (glad my brother's trip was event free)  ....  life goes on in the vineyards, our mail is being delivered, the boulangerie is open, always have a good stock of foodstuffs, so we just watch and wait at the moment.    Just wait until it's all over, I'll be 'blitzing'  the Bordeaux shops'  :D

Take care all    .... and keep warm   :)

PS...     good luck with the hearing specialist Mike.

PS...     good luck with the hearing specialist Mike.

Thankyou, I'm just hoping this rain stops as I do not like paying high hospital parking charges so I park about 10 mins. away and then walk to the hospital.
