Title: Block of flats with lights turned every night causes burst of CRC errors
Post by: digitalnemesis on May 04, 2016, 08:46:24 PM
Is there anything I can do to reduce errors from when the lights outside the entire block of flats automatically turn on at night?

Exactly when the lights turn on, a huge burst of CRC errors are seen, this happens every night.

Do the CRC errors return to normal after the lights have been on for a 5 minutes and what type of light filament is in use on the flats for example Leds / fluorescent / halogen / Incandescent ?

Right after the lights have turned on CRC errors return to normal.

I think they're fluorescent lights but can't be sure 100%. They light up the entire housing estate, mounted on outside walls everywhere.
