Is this yet another phishing attempt?

This one looks like bad news.

Do not, under any circumstances, left-click on that link. :no:
-
Agreed.
The one you posted from BT earlier in the week was just a nasty marketing approach (assuming they have not denied it?).
This one is phishing. Do not click the link.

Where does the URL actually point?
Someone ought to report it (the true destination) as a malicious site.
Many web browsers have an option that checks URLs against a list of evil sites before it will let you visit them. This feature has various names, can't remember what it's called in IE, as I always turn it off.

Many thanks once again guys.

I wonder where it really came from, need to see email headers. Was that claim from the "from" address, plus text in the web page, which is presumably false. If it's true, the senders need to be shot.

@Peter
Totally OT
Where did you get your Avatar ?
I would like to see the full size original, if you have a link.
Just being Nosey ! ;D

Hi Aardvark, is is a cigarette card I found in a late relative's belongings after her death.

H Weaver, yes, the last attachment with the address on was at the end of the email, to add authenicity I suppose.

FWIW the company at that address most fitting is "JDIBackup prev. Backup MY Computer". This is the address of the secretaries Gibson Whittier.

Don't supposed you have a scan you could send ?
(I was trying to think what it looked like ...... never got to Cigarette cards :D )
It was looking like the overblown commemorative portraits the Victorians did of their heroes, usually killed in a war somewhere for 'King/Queen & Country' ;D
-
I tried to attach the scan but it is too big apparently, can I send to you another address maybe?
Peter

@Peter
Many Thanks for your time.
I will send you a PM with my address.
TIA
-
Let me know if you get the pic aardvark, I had a spot of bother with it.
