Dutch hackers from the Linux on Anything (LOA) group have successfully installed Linux on a potato. They haven't revealed what chip it uses.

Watch how you go on that little beastie, my memory of Shetlands is that they are stubborn, bad tempered and prone to kicking and biting, at least the one I had dealings with many years ago was.
