Title: iOS : Autocorrect - bad entries
Post by: Weaver on August 17, 2016, 10:36:40 AM
I somehow seem to have entered bad spellings into the dictionary used by the iOS keyboard spelling autocorrect feature. Any idea how to correct them?

If you use “predictive” mode, where suggested words come up in a bar above the virtual keyboard, is there any way of correcting the junk entries found in there? For example, I've fallen asleep and the iPad has fallen forwards onto me, “typing” things like xxxxJx into its dictionary, and so now these junk items are suggested. But there's no visible way of getting rid of them, as there's no x to click on as when you are getting suggested corrections visible right in the middle of the text.
