Title: dnscrypt and dnsssec on asus routers (non dsl variants)
Post by: Chrysalis on February 02, 2016, 12:31:36 PM
Things are moving nicely in the merlin asuswrt world.

I setup dnscrypt on my router 2 days ago using this simple guide.

https://github.com/RMerl/asuswrt-merlin/wiki/Secure-DNS-queries-using-DNSCrypt

Only difference is I downloaded the latest csv file manually (the one in entware is out of date) and I did some customisations to have a secondary dns server.

John the maintainer of the stable fork of merlin asuswrt is currently implementing dnssec support as well, beta firmware here. Page 1 of that thread has his latest stable version.

Many Thanks.
Keep forgetting to keep up to date with the Merlin Updates etc.

Will look at this as soon as I get some time. :)
