I don't have the OS. But just noticed there are quite a lot of posts around online that turning fTPM on some AMD boards is causing system wide stuttering.
As anyone here noticed that problem?
I don't think there is a solution yet, other than to turn fTPM off. But I'm not sure if that stops you getting updates?

Some people seem to have reported bios updates have fixed it for them.
Odd behaviour, it makes me wonder if the TPM is constantly been polled.

Certainly not seen it on my hardware but I only use my AMD box for gaming so could have missed it if that is something its not impacting.

I suffer from this issue and it extents to full pc freeze so I have to reset it because a proper restart is not reachable.. It mostly happen when watching streams on twitch so I guessed it is a GPU related issue but never seen fTPM mentioned as a cause of such weird behavior.
My board is b450 and bios are update to latest, I just disabled fTPM and hope this solves the issue.. :fingers:
Thank you for sharing this

it was fixed in an amd bios update last year.
