Aaaww, she is beautiful, and giving a wee wink to the camera  :D She's going to be a star.

Big, bouncing lass too.

Congratulations to the parents and I hope baby and mum and doing fine.

Aye she is.
She didn't want to come out and has been giving mum a tough time over the past few weeks, so we're glad that all is well.

Another pic - this one taken about 15 mins ago.

I think she looks exactly like Soph (her big sister) but with Glyns hair :)
I still have a photo of newborn Soph on my keyring, and they look almost identical!

I got three pretty much identical texts!
One at 4:44am, from my Uncle, saying Baby Ella says hello.
One at 7:28am from Rach, and then three minutes later, Mum forwarded me the same message that Rach sent.

I think Ella is  beautiful name ^_^

I've been looking forward to meeting my new cousin, and my boyfriend says he'll take me to see her on Sunday ^_^ (I'm currently in Lincoln at the moment, until Friday, and working long hours on Friday and Saturday)

I hope Big Sister Sophie doesn't get too jealous!

Thanks TD for brightening up the pic :)

I'm waiting atm to see when I'm going down to see her.  Rach was in labour for over 24 hours, so both her and my bro havent had any sleep for well over a day, so theyre doing some 'catchup' right now.  It will possibly be the last chance they get for a while since once they get home they'll have the new baby and a young toddler to cope with.

Congratulations to Mum and Dad (and Auntie).

Are they local to you, for visiting?

It's getting like Mothercare on here now! Who's next?

Ella looks lovely (TD certainly did a good job on brightening that picture!).  So does Megan Ruby from the earlier announcement.  It has got me on tenterhooks and very eager as our fourth grandchild is due any moment (last Sunday actually!)  I love small babies, they're so innocent and delightful......can't wait to hold our new one soon! ;D

Pop tunes 'used to calm babies'

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/7760186.stm

dave dashes to make a compilation of songs. ( Not me singing, just pirating some hits)

"Rocking Around The Christmas Crib."

Stands a chance of the Christmas No.1
