I was looking at some other services on this satellite and noticed they do Broadband which maybe of interest to someone .

Indeed. But at quite a price, no doubt.  ::)

Somehow I cannot see Walter suggesting it to the various Ewhurstians who are still struggling with appalling or non-existent broadband services via the hardware infrastructure of the Evil Empire of 81 Newgate Street.1

The biggest hurdle with Satellite BB is the intial cost and setup and usually the monthly GB allowance is quite small.Also D/L speeds can be slower than ADSL.

Thanks for the link,  interesting that the prices equate quite well to the price of a 512kb adsl connection appx 10yrs ago.   

some of us may remember paying £29.99 for 512k plus £150 activation at the exchange, plus a minimum of £100 for a router.
  Some ISPs offered the cheaper USB "frogs" which allowed one pc to connect, having gone for a router myself can't recall how much the frogs were, possibly £30/40?
