Title: database error

When trying to post in the games area, I get :-

Database error........Please try again. If you come back to this error screen, report the error to an administrator.

 :(

Despite this, when I go back to the threads, my posts appear as normal.

seems to be a problem with connecting to the DB for some reason... not sure why since the stats look ok and server load is fine.
I'll drop a line to my hosts to see if they know anything.

Ive had a reply - would have been a bit earlier at about 7.15? when they were doing something on the server for a couple of mins and all should be fine now.

lol they must hate me sometimes, since either me or you guys seem to notice as soon as there's anything unusual going on and they cant even run a quick update  :lol:

heh - seriously though they are very good.  I know many other hosting providers just wouldnt bother with queries like that.
Without going dedicated with an SLA which would cost thousands, then I think I do ok :)
