Title: Dial B for Britain
Post by: sheddyian on November 14, 2017, 09:50:51 PM
On BBC Four at 10pm on 14th November (so that's in about 10 minutes time as I type this), there's a programme about the history of the telephone network in the UK.

Should be on iplayer soon after.  There's a few clips here already, engineers talking about climbing poles

Thank you. That is something I have bookmarked for later viewing.

I believe it's a repeat previously shown a few months ago. Brilliant programme which I found extremely interesting.

Now that you have mentioned it, I believe I may have seen that program before.  :-\

Yes, I had seen it before . . . but watched it once again as it triggered fond memories from <cough> years ago.  ;)

When I was watching it, I thought it was familiar.  It had been on earlier in the year, and I'd watched it then and recorded it, but had forgotten.

Like you, it was fun to see again though.
