How do I use Telnet on Linux ?.

Open a console and type
telnet <address>
I think that telnet is installed by default in most distros, but if not it will certainly be available for installation from the repositories.

I will try a different machine tonight.

I tried it of another machine (same OS ) and it worked ok. :'(
