The downloads include new versions of routers.dat and specialrouters.dat. If you're upgrading by just copying over the executable, make sure that you copy these two files as well.
Changes since v4.52.1:
- added option to keep the alert trigger levels at the values configured by the user
- fixed "No data received" error with Thomson/Technicolor routers
- fixed missing RSCorr/RS (%) values on Stats page
- fixed missing AS uptime value on Status bar
- added Zyxel VMG8324-B10A to the the list of supported models
- added Huawei HG635 to the list of supported models and changed login code to support it
- fixed no plotting of bitswaps per minute
- added the number of resyncs since recording started to the Stats page
- modified HG612-Modem-Stats co-operation to ensure synchronisation at all times
[Note] v4.53.1 corrects confusing popup mentioned by Kitz below.

Thank you eric.

Firefox can't find the server at dslstats.plainroad.co.uk.
All seems to be working fine thankyou, it automatically picked up the following from the previous edition
04 May 2014 15:31:23 Option "HG612-Modem-Stats co-operation" was set
I'm also using the correct router now from the dropdown box, just one thing that I wasnt sure about.... is it supposed to pop up the attached box, because I cant recall seeing it when I previously selected another Zyxel model.

Sorry about that popup. It's only supposed to show if you select the HG635. I'll upload corrected versions shortly, but in any case you'll only see it once and it's only for information, and has no consequences.

Er sorry but still something odd here. The Home page only shows v 4.51 on first opening, but v 4.53 on a second opening ? Download page doesn't admit to v 4.53 at all though ??? Win7 and SR ware Iron here.
Still I've found a 32/64 bit Pascal compiler while poking about - can't complain !

Not sure whats going on.. I found it ok from the main page -> downloads

32-bit Windows v4.53
Perhaps some sort of weird caching going on?

b*cat believes he has found a
flea bug.
Taking the Tones ---> Bitloading tabs to view the graph and then positioning the cursor on a tone (say 51), a right-click will bring up all the relevant information . . . all except the SNR. This is consistent for every tone in the graph. :-\
A screen-scrape is attached, below.
-
@JGO: I think that must be caching, as Kitz says. I've now uploaded versions without the popup message, and the link in Kitz' message will take you to the correct download page.
-
Installed and the AS uptime is now showing correctly once again, thanks Eric. I also noticed the change to the alerts which I will monitor now I have the new flag set to keep the values.

The SNR value will be shown only if SNR per tone is included on the bitloading chart. It's always been like that - perhaps I should have put N/A when SNR isn't on the chart.

Ah, I see. Not a bug but a quirk. ;)

The windows download seems to be the same as the linux one?

Loading - SNAP !
both are TAR.GZ files which I remember is a Linux equivalent of .Zip ?

Link now corrected. You may need to refresh the page in case the previous version is cached.
-
Eric I can confirm the new addition to the alerts is working, I am seeing messages each time my set threshold is exceeded.

Thanks all is working now as it should ;D

Got it.. thanks eric :)

Phew! Can I go to bed now? ;D
-
Thank you Eric. Work without any problem - ver.3 2L

Thanks Lucas.

OK now, many thanks.
-
Thanks JGO, sorry about the initial confusion.

It may well be nothing directly to do with dslstats but today I notice that I can't save snapshots to the default folder location. The folder is set to read only and un-setting that does not help as it just gets reset read only. If I choose another location it does save OK. Just asking in case this is something known to happen?
-
DSLstats doesn't intentionally change the read-only status of any of the folders it uses. If you copied the complete folder which you extracted from the downloaded archive, I guess it's possible that this folder ended up as read-only. But if you unset it, I can't see any way in which DSLstats would change it back to read-only again.
I will check this out, and I'll also see if I can change the way I create the archives to avoid this possibility.
-
I am none the wiser regarding what happened but renaming the old (now read only) folder and creating a new one seems to have fixed the issue. No manipulation of the original folder seemed to fix the issue.
-
I guess that's one to leave in the "unexplained oddities" box then, unless it pops up again.
