Title: Toast!
Post by: timp on November 29, 2006, 11:11:38 PM
Could this be the best thing for sliced bread since sliced bread?

ROLLERtoaster (http://www.jarengoh.com/)

Some butter and Marmite on mine thanks.

Saw a similar, but bigger version in the Swallow Hotel in Gateshead.  It's a box with a metal conveyer belt inside.  Just put the bread on the belt and wait for it to drop out the bottom.  If you like it crispy just put it through again.

No 1 Grand daughter was so impressed she was doing toast for the whole hotel.

It looks like if you wanted your toast well done you would need to put it through about 11 times to get the desired result whilst not burning your fingers.

At least no one will actually get hurt since the element looks to be a photoshoped fake rather than actually hot - i think the pictured result speaks for itself.
