ISPA awards 2009 finalists announced

The 2009 ISPA award finalists have been announced today, with the winners set to be crowned on the 9th July. This is the 11th year that the ISPAs have been running and they reward excellence within the UK Internet services market with awards in categories. The awards are based off intensive testing from Epitiro with an independent judging process.

The awards are based off intensive testing from Epitiro with an independent judging process.
So this is based mainly on the assessment of a single commercial company. Not surprisingly there are some names there which many people would disagree with.
As a society we seem to be obsessed with annual awards for everything. I really don't see the purpose, apart from giving the winners a bit of a marketing opportunity.

There are some on there who I really cannot believe even offer a Proper Service....Either in real terms or customer terms... ::)

I deal a heck of a lot with Eclipse on a daily basis for all our customers and find them to be excellent for customer service, conpared to so many other ISPs who are totally clueless these guys actually know what they are talking about so you will never find me saying anything bad about them.
