And this one I call...The North Stand. ;D It was just outside the campsite and it made us smile at all the sheep sitting in tiers under the tree.

Lovely, lovely, lovely............what else can I say... :clap2:
You have a great eye for a composition, unkyUb, and you should be very happy with this set. :)
I like the way you have got the orientation on the waterfall....portrait for the close ups and landscape for the wide...just right.
The Ullswater one with the yacht is a bit slopey......soon fix that ( will be back).
The two Swaledales and the general view of Ullswater are an absolute delight......and I love the one with the old barn and these gorgeous dry stone dykes.
The play of the light and the clouds on the hills ...beautiful, and the cloud formations are fantastic.
:D at the sheep........a moment well caught.
Thanks for sharing........a real treat for TD to see these. :) :)

Thank you for your nice comments. :)
Re the High Force waterfall...I took those pictures with my little Panasonic Lumix as I didn't have the Sony with me...What was only going to be a little trip to get some groceries ended up with us driving up to Middleton-on-Teesdale and then on to High Force.
We paid £2 to park the car and £1.50 each to view the falls, what there was no mention what walking was involved to get to them and back..a 1 mile round trip which for me was like a marathon.Luckily there was some benches to sit on all around the pathway.
I was in agony when I got back to the car and in severe pain for the the rest of that day,so saying you liked the photo's has made it all worthwhile for me
If you look at this photo you can just see the pathway coming down on the left and the pathway on the right leading to the falls.I was stood on a little stone bridge when I took the shot.

So it is :-[ I should have straightened that (quite easy to do with Picasa)

I quite liked the picture of the little boat sailing uphill. :)

I love it...just a tiny bit of straightening....we're short of water in Britain and it's a shame to see it running out the pic. Besides, it's making me carpet all soggy... :D
-
-
I hate the sound of poor TD's soggy carpet so I've straightened it :D
