Title: HG612 Modem Stats 4 on Server 2008R2
Post by: g3uiss on September 23, 2014, 04:02:58 PM
I wonder if anyone has used this on a Server 2008R2. I tried today, but it didn't update even with the task enabled. I expect a security issue, or perhaps a VB runtime issue. I was hoping to have it on one of my servers so it runs continuously. I normally have the PC on 24/7 but have to spend some days away

If you would like to send me a PM with your email address, I'll respond & you could then send any relevant logs to me so that I can work out what needs amending to make it work.

Try running each program manually, I've found on occasion Windows will ask if it's OK to run.

You need to run the following programs manually  in this order.

Hg612 Current Stats
Hg612 date  and time
Hg612 stats
Hg612 Run

There may be an option to save your answer if you get any security questions.

We actually tracked down & sorted the issue very quickly last night.

It happened to be just one mis-typed digit in the modem's non-default IP address.
