Hiya guys. Have been reading this forum extensively for the past week. Originally had a D7000 router then after reading here upgraded to a R7000p. Had a HG612 lying around in the garage for nearly 4 yrs. so got it out, dusted it down and with the forum help, unlocked it, and connected it to the R7000P. Even got DSL stats working.
I am truly hooked lol now.
Next step is to upload my line stats in due course. Cheers ;)

DSL stats is very addictive I monitor my line like a hawk. Although I run it off a Raspi 3B+ and have it webgui'd.

Are you in the U.K?
Your line is capped at 35/7.2 which if in the U.K. is a result of DLM capping the line due to too many resyncs.
-
Hi john. Yes in uk on talk talk service.
I used to have an old talk talk modem which I used to have to reboot virtually every day, which is probably the reason I assume for the resync.
Anything I can do to get the cap lifted?
-
Just be patient. Don't reboot the modem unless you need to. If the line is dropping on its own too frequently, then it may remain like this. If not, it should uncap in due time. :)
-
Ok will leave modem alone for now. Suppose that’s the best thing about a separate modem. One can reboot the router and not touch the modem.

Very much so.
