Blimey - wonder why OR would leave it for 2 years before activated? What the main reason? Think mine was due to it being flats off the street, so need someone to actually type something into the computer! The street is all overhead, where my flats are underground grey tubes. But on the first visit as I've posted else where the Engineer didn't actually find the fibre, and a second visit was required. But yes 8/22 I took a photo of the Quinn employee in the pit doing the fibre. Sounds like Cluedo! Netomnia seem to be having all manner of problems with their contractors, so unsure as to when or weather that will ever happen! And Virgin as Nextfibre are back in town, so they may upgrade but the street already has coax run down it. |
