The 'sh' at the prompt and you should then get a hash (#) prompt where you can enter the commands.

Thanks.

We switched to talktalk a few weeks ago and once connected we was getting 72mpbs speedtest download, and router said 79999mpbs max speed.

After a couple of weeks, router says 55555mpbs and speedtest peaks at 54000mpbs.

I've gone back to using the hg612 because it was always stable.....

Can anyone help make sense of these stats?

thanks

Use this telnet command to find out the type of cabinet you're connected to

Should definitely be getting full 80Mb.
93Mb attainable and 9.8dB attention shows you're pretty close to your cabinet which is a Huawei, which is good.

You got quite high interleaving applied at the moment. In the next few weeks DLM should apply retransmission (G.INP).

Is the downstream sync rate always 53796? Very odd that is syncing so low. I recommend installing DslStats (http://dslstats.me.uk) and registering for an account on MyDSLWebStats (https://www.mydslwebstats.co.uk/mdws-rg.php). This lets everyone see detailed graphs of your connection and will help get to the bottom of the low sync. It should be up at 79999  for sure.

I would guess the modem you were using instead of the HG612 caused a lot of disconnections resulting in your line being banded to raise the SNRM to 12. Assuming the HG612 stops the disconnections, your line should improve in the next 10-15 days.
