Title: It is with great sadness

A fellow member on here Dave.M has passed away,he had been battling cancer for quite some time.

I was always chatting to Dave and he became a good friend.He was a regular poster on here and over @ C/A Forums.

A lot of older members will remember him for doing the weekly quiz.

Very sad news  As you say he had been bravely battling lung cancer for a while and it's sad that he lost his fight with this terrible disease:(
Deepest condolences to his family.

Very sad news indeed. I've known Dave since my early days on the CA forums.

Just like to add my condolences to the family.

I seem to remember Dave.m being very helpful and friendly on this forum over the years.

Very sad news and my sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Never knew Dave personally but he came across as a likeable and helpful forum member.

I recognise the name from 2007/2008, don't know the man.

I hope he died easy.

What more can be said that has not already been said.
But, there goes another good man.

Obviously it's always a sad moment when we hear of people passing away and especially when it's people we knew, but apart from illness, age is one of those things that surrounds us and we start to see and hear of more and more people passing on that we knew, although it does not make it any easier.

Dave, you will be missed.
