hi, my speed from sunday is only 129 - 130Kb/s
India told me that all is ok ... but I can not listen online radio tv ....
Result from this morning
Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test: -provides background information.
IP profile for your line is - 135 kbps
DSL connection rate: 448 kbps(UP-STREAM) 7040 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 114 kbps
anyone what is going on? :'(

Hi samuel
Welcome to the forum.
Clearly something wrong there. Can you post your router/modem stats, the attenuation and SNR figures particularly. Follow the link below if you are not sure how to do this.

thank you, I'll provide that info to you this afternoon because I am at work now
-
Looking at the figures it's clear that you had a low-speed re-connection at the weekend, and this caused your IP profile to plummet. If you stay connected at the present speed (7040 kbps as shown) your IP profile should soon rise again to 6000 kbps, with actual download speeds up to around that figure.
Several things can cause an event like this, and it could just be a one-off glitch. When we see your connection stats we may be able to reach more conclusions.

so what you think what is wrong...

Your stats indicate a good connection which should comfortably support your present connection speed. Unless anything else goes wrong you should be back up to your previous speeds within a day or so.
However, the rather high downstream noise margin suggests that your connection has been unstable before, and the DLM process has increased the target noise margin to improve the stability. It might be worth having a read of http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/lowSNR.htm for some tips on diagnosing and solving interference problems.

heh - eric just beat me to it - I was about to type a similar reply
-
many thanks I hope I'll get my speed back because at the moment it's a nightmare :(
anyway you guy's are much more usefull than BT India helpdesk
tell u later if something change
-
Because of the huge increase between the sync speeds, touch wood - I'd expect your profile to be back to normal by tomorrow.. if not sometime today.
-
heh I just had phone call from BT lot of questions ( did u change microfilter .... )
he told me he can see that my ip profile is just 135kbps and he will call me back ... and he did after 5min,
he arrange appointment with engineer tomorrow morning..... :-\
-
>> he arrange appointment with engineer tomorrow morning.....
By which time hopefully your profile (if the system works as it should) will have recovered anyway ???
-
omg - that so does not need an engineer visit
BT retail are probably one of the main causes of the increased abortive visit charge >:(
-
hopefully ;)

My thoughts exactly :/ hence the ???

bt guy was here this morning and he said that IP profile needs to be change.. and I had phone call from india and they fix that.
If is something wrong with IP profile they have to fix that or IP profile will be fix himself after time????

Exactly and why me and chris said it was a waste of time for the BT engineer... because there isnt anything he could do about it anyhow. Your IP profile had changed because of a low sync.
Its part of the DLM process and any changes to the IP profile should automatically correct themselves over a few days - More info how it works:-
