If the sync speed (672kbps) is the same or greater than before then a 9db noise margin is better than a 7.7db. Have you changed something and have you taken a note of the noise margin at the same time of day? The noise margin will be less during darkness than during the day in general.

Lower the noise margin faster you will sync. Resync tomorrow morning whens its light and it should sync faster but have a lower noise margin. How far does the noise margin drop from daytime to night?

It's confusing to have multiple threads on the same subject, so please continue the discussion in the original thread here. (http://forum.kitz.co.uk/index.php/topic,6642.0.html)
