Was that the lighthouse that they moved back from the cliff edge a few years ago ?.

And, as I found out from my friend (who stayed there last week but not Monday) its name is NOT from the French.
It apparently means "gods lookout" or similar in Saxon but has been corrupted over the years to appear French.
