TD looked at the clock, thought it read quarter to one.....and has just prepared and eaten his small lunch.....now I see it was quarter to ten ....

I may be a bit peckish by the time dinner is served this evening...

It comes to us all TD - at least you won't fade away from hunger!   

My father-in-law has just emptied the pill dispenser that the pharmacist so carefully filled with the 10 pills that f-i-l takes each day.  He put the pills into separate envelopes marked with the name and dosage of each pill!  Logic?

When one gets up as early as I think you do, TD, it's not too surprising if you're ready for lunch by 10:00. It happens to me sometimes.

Absolutely! Lunch time is 10.00AM when breakfast is at 05.30 AM.  I munch my breakfast while I watch TD checking the forum most mornings.

Oh yes.......you can't beat a good American 'buffet' lunch (or dinner come to that)

Why bother with the time anyway TD. If you are hungry then eat. That is my policy. I have my meals at some very odd times.
I used to make meals by the clock until I found times when I wasn't ready for a meal and it went to waste.

A bit OT, but on the same lines: in my thirties I walked out of the London bank, where I worked. Not until half way to the station did it strike me that there was no rush hour traffic and people going my way.

Fortunately the office was not busy, when I slinked back in.
