SpeedTouch 546v6 Won't Downgrade to 6.1
« on: June 06, 2011, 05:37:59 PM »

I have managed to downgrade my SpeedTouch 546v6 to 6.2H firmware, but it won't go any lower than that. When I try to go to 6.1 I just get an error and the router starts up in Bootp mode.

Has anybody got any suggestions?

I'm fairly sure that I have read that you can't downgrade some newer versions. Sorry I don't have any references though.
Cheers,

Sorry can't help either - no experience of the Thompson 546v6. Did have a Thompson about 6 years ago but replaced it with the superior DG834G v3 which in turn has now been replaced with a 2700HGV.
