'Allo 'Allo All   ....   I expect you are al,l wisely, tucked up in bed,  having seen some of the weather over there  ....    it's 'orrible here too   ...wet and 4° 

The last 36 hours have been quite alarming here   .... and it's not over yet !    I'm translating between a Bordeaux  hospital and an English couple (one of only two we are friendly with here) where the lady of the house is very seriously ill.    It's obviously very stressful for the husband.  Translating at the best of times is tiring   ...I'm cream crackered !  The hospitals involved (three in total) have been superb, the treatment second to none; however the situation is extremely grave.

So if I'm missing you'll know I'm not out shopping

That sounds like a very demanding job you have there, Kate. I'm not surprised you're worn out.

It's another cold day here, and we did have a brief flurry of snow, but it didn't last 5 minutes. It's above freezing now, and I'm going out for a bit of a wander around shortly.
