Better for what?
It's the same frequencies as G so the same effective range.
Any G wireless router is going to be faster than your broadband, unless you're on Virgin 50mbps or faster.
And you'd need N-rated adapter in your laptop/PC of course.
So, if you want to move data quickly between local N-rated wireless PC's then yes it may be better.
Otherwise not.
N (vs G) is like Cat6 (vs Cat5e) - largely pointless.
Of course you could splash out some serious cash and get 802.11N 5GHz kit......
