Copy video files.

I want to send some video files (avi) to a friend  but Windows will not copy to a DVD. It will copy to an ordinary CD but since I have about 12 files totalling about 4Gb the normal 700 Mb CD is not really an option. Any ideas or suggestions please.
Sorry if this is in the wrong section, could not decide where else it shoud be.

I've had a look at those links but it's not what I really what I am after. I want to keep the file as avi like it does when saving to an ordinary CD, and not convert it to DVD.

roseway:
I guess you need a different burning program then. I don't use Windows myself, but there must be several programs which can burn DVDs.
