If I move home & keep number will broadband stay with me?
« on: August 26, 2010, 07:12:45 AM »

Hello to all.

As in my title - If I move home and take my telephone number to my new address, will the broadband just get re routed to my new address or does it not work like that?

Hi and welcome

I'm afraid it doesn't work like that. Because it's a different line physically it counts as a new provision which has to be paid for. There may also be a charge for cancelling your present connection.

Your ISP should be able to handle all the details for you, and may absorb the costs in return for a new 12- or 18-month contract.

OT.

Have you seen this Dan?

Look for Portishead, I assume you live there.

Unless you are a band fan.
