DG834GT Telnet code
« on: November 18, 2009, 07:38:12 PM »

Anyone know the Telnet commands to disconnect and reconnect router, not reboot just reset connection?

Thanks.

You can get a 'help' list by just typing adslctl with no parameters.  Based upon that list, it looks like the clean way to do what you want may  be
adslctl connection --down followed by adslctl connection --up

I've also found that adslctl configure with no parameters seems to cause a reconnect, but I can't remember whether it changes any previously configured parameters, like --snr (I think it doesn't).

I'm not volunteering to try either right now as I don't want to disturb my connection.   As per another recent thread, I don't know whether a command-line reconnect would send dying gasp messages to the DSLAM.  If it doesn't send dying gasps (or even if it does), it may possibly run a risk of upsetting DLM and so getting you a raised target.  So don't do it too often  :)
