You can get a 'help' list by just typing
adslctl with no parameters. Based upon that list, it looks like the clean way to do what you want may be
adslctl connection --down followed by
adslctl connection --upI've also found that a
dslctl configure with no parameters seems to cause a reconnect, but I can't remember whether it changes any previously configured parameters, like
--snr (I think it doesn't).
I'm not volunteering to try either right now as I don't want to disturb my connection. As per another recent thread, I don't know whether a command-line reconnect would send dying gasp messages to the DSLAM. If it doesn't send dying gasps (or even if it does), it may possibly run a risk of upsetting DLM and so getting you a raised target. So don't do it too often
