Over the weekend we was back at the Guardian offices

Not only can't they design web sites, their English grammar isn't too hot either.

Also I can't seem to find the Network Status page......is that for members only now ?

Now to be fair, I don't think that's the default background.  ;)

As you may have noticed, due to a technical issue we have taken the Member Centre section of our new website offline.  We are currently working to identify the cause of the issue and in the meantime we have rolled back to the old version – you can access this either via www.bethere.co.uk or directly at https://avatar.bethere.co.uk/memberhome.do.

We expect to have a timeline for the new Member Centre fix by early next week however we will not be re-releasing it until we’re confident that it’s fixed and have tested it thoroughly.  In the meantime we will continue to update the forum with information as it comes to hand.

If you did log in to the new Member Centre before we took it down on Tuesday evening, and have any questions or concerns please email the dedicated email address we have set up: datasupport@bethere.co.uk

Thanks for your patience and ongoing support

Basically, the re-branded Member Centre was broken - in several ways.
The worst was a "data leak", so it got taken down pretty quickly.
The old one is up there and works fine.

Testing.  :-X

How about if you didn't log into the new Member Centre but are worried someone else did and managed to access your account details?  :-\

Weve been doing lots of listening since the launch.
The feedback youve given us to say that the colours of the site are too bright...
.. so what we are doing about that is weve got a poll running on our forum at present, allowing some of the members to tone down the colours and maybe take off their sunglasses.

If it was just the colours that were causing problems then fair enough, but with the overall layout, font usage, content and navigation issues it's like wading through treacle.  I actually find it an effort to use the site in it's current form.

I think someone might have been influenced by the Speccy colour pallette though....
