Those Poor Dogs

Two police dogs were left in a police van outside a Nottinghamshire police and died in extreme heat conditions.

What a terrible way to die,the handler/s should be instantly dismissed.These officers have no reason to forget the animals were left in a van in this heat,they live and work with them 24/7 and there is no excuse. :(

Yes, whoever is responsible must be punished. There's no excuse at all. :(

They should be banned from working with or owning animals ever again.

I seen Police giving people cautions and charging them etc for leaving their dogs in their cars on hot days.

I feel so sorry for the poor dogs :(

I feel that the police officers should not only be dismissed from their jobs, but also banned from handling/owning animals as well as charging them exactly how they would charge another.

Dreadful.

The torment and anguish that these animals endured is unimaginable........a terrible slow, painful death.

The crassly stupid and incompetant officer (supposdly trained as a dog handler) in charge of these dogs should be punished by the very laws which he has broken at the same time as having sworn to uphold them.

There is a suggestion that the RSPCA is considering taking an action against the officer and whilst that is an organisation which I heartily dislike, I hope and trust that on this occasion they do pursue an action.

I think we should also spare a thought for the charity that donated the dogs, they must be feeling gutted as well.

What a dreadful thing  .... >:(     the officer responsible should be demoted at least, and removed from his privileged dog handling position   .....if I had my way he would be horse whipped  >:( >:( :(
