Morning everyone,

Bright and sunny here at the mo....cold though but that's allowed at the moment (it sez 'ere).

Hope you all have a good day whatever you're doing....Palm Sunday today for those interested, always like G K Chesterton's poem "The Donkey" which in part related to this day....maybe though it's only because we had to learn it by heart and recite it at a school "do".....many moons ago lol.

A lovely day here, just right for being out and about. TD is off soon to have a wee trundle to the garden centre for some essential bits and pieces. Will go the long way and take the cameras...

It's lovely and sunny this morning. 

I think I'll start one of the annual jobs that I hate doing that needs to be done...
and start painting the bushes and shrubs in my garden....
erm I mean fences, shed and those wooden garden edging thingies.

Good morning all,

I don't feel very jolly this morning,  

My neighbour who was diagnosed with cancer this week has had to have her little dog put to sleep this morning.  

I posted a few weeks ago that the little mite had a large tumor on one of her teats,well she was not able to stand this morning and wasn't eating so her son has taken her to the vets.  :cry2:
She was a little West Highland terrier (like Scottie),aged 11.

A belated morning all.

That's very sad, Phil. Sometimes certain people seem to get more than their fair share of misery.

It's a lovely day here today, several butterflies flitting around, including a lovely yellow one. I might have to do some gardening, but I'm not planning on doing any painting - it's so easy to paint the wrong things isn't it?

Its a very cruel world,good people have all this to contend with and all the bad,evil people in the world seem to get nothing.

Gosh yes that is so true and I know several people who suffer "the lot" whilst others who are far from nice people going about their daily lives with nothing to contend with.  Am so sorry to hear about your neighbour's dear little doggie....it is as you say Uncy, a very cruel world indeed.

Had a bit of a shock today.

There was I busy painting fences when a friend of a friend/exbf walked up the drive to advise me that my ex had died under anaesthetic for a routine operation.
I'm not quite sure what to do or say about the circumstances personally, but atm its his son (who he has brought up single handedly) which is the main concern.
