Morning to you all, hope you are all fit and well today..

Back to the wet and windies here, not very pleasant.

TD is in despair again. I thought I had solved my problem of the PC not shutting down properly. It worked great for a couple of days, but it is back to it's nonsense again.
I cannot fathom out what is going wrong, and the event viewer tells me nothing. 
Will throw this thing into skip.

Oh TD,more computer woes. 
Its those little problems that really bug you. 

Cold and grey here this morning.
Had a call from the local PC yesterday saying he has tracked some of the miscreants down and spoke to their parents,we shall see. 
Hope Kitz is feeling better. 
Even after 3 weeks I still have a bit of a cough,still not 100%
Can't believe how food prices are still rising this fast.Dog food has gone up steeply.If it gets much more expensive..............................He will have to have steak

  All !  ......    bright and breezy here too TD   .....what a nuisance for you that darn machine is   ....  a while ago I used to use a 'shutdown' programme  ....  really just to try it and found it very good, I can't remember why I reverted to the 'normal shutdown' but it wasn't anything that was wrong with the programme.  Don't know if it will help you at all but it might be worth a try  ...   http://www.nirmaltv.com/2008/10/06/free-shutdown-utility-for-windows-smart-shutdown/

Unfortunately, that is the utility that am already using to try and shutdown...............to no avail. 
PC going in skip.....TD going back to pen and paper............just having to spend some time printing off all my pics, documents etc. before it goes.

I expect you will have tried the suggestions at the site http://www.aumha.org/win5/a/shtdwnxp.php which helped me with a similar problem a little while ago but just in case you missed it!
