If not, is the answer ..... St Kitts ......... 'Thoroughfare' = St. ........... 'Sounds like - poetry' = Keats sounds similar to Kitts.

Extremely weak logic I know. But, it is Friday which means I have a few glasses of wine to wash the week away, which in turn allows my brain and thought-processes to  become complete mush.

The name of the place has to be in the British Isles and the name of a real place.
A mushy brain is a prerequisite for this game.

Now I recall a poet by the name of Robert Penn and there is a place called ............... Penn Street in Buckinghamshire. Maybe this is what we are looking for.

Is it just me These type of clues/answers could be applied to probably quite a few streets in most towns, cities in the British Isles. As I've never been to Kent, I would need to have some form of divine intervention to allow me to get to 'Oad St - Kent' as the answer. It could quite easily have been 'Prose Avenue - Gwent'.

Ah well ......... have you cracked mine yet Duck ?? Don't pretend you haven't looked at it, as most cryptic crossers I know would go without food and sleep until they'd cracked it !!



5th coil first is not important. ( its a well known tourist TOWN)
