Hi
Common sense ,but only part of the way they still want to control shape size etc on apples strawberries and other fruit . Those that don't comply will be allowed to be sold but not as top quality  (although they may the best for taste and or nutritional value ).

Just going off the subject slightly, the same bureaucrats who stooped us from having mis shapen fruit and veg and kidney in our pork chops are the same ones that allow our ham and bacon to be pumped up with added water and our sausages to  be filled with anything other than  meat.
Have you also noticed how much packs of meat vary in size from week to week.Eg Sainsburys mince beef.Last time I bought it 99p for 500gms,this time 98p for 400gms.
Look at the sizze of bottles and cans of beer and lager, they confuse you with that many sizes you don't know if you are getting a good deal or not, same with the amount of cans and bottles in whole cases,a few years ago it always use to be 24's,now 12,15,18,20,24 and even 30.
Confusing ????
